A little about me

I used to call myself a colour-phobe with a pen, I realise now that this isn’t 100 percent true. I love the world in colour, I just like to record it in pen. This is largely what my drawings have become, recordings of places I have been. From the Manhattan cityscape to Frank Gehry’s Dancing House in Prague I get a great enjoyment that I can draw these from photographs I have taken. Ironically though the drawings of London are the landmarks which aren’t.

I feel like by drawing you notice more, buildings in cityscapes you hadn’t noticed, details in landmarks, patterns in animals, all details which at first glance went unnoticed, so by the end of a drawing you know your subject more.
